travel uniform kit
In the fall of 2025 we will be entering a new player kit cycle. This kit will be used for the next two years (Fall 2025-Spring 2027). All players are required to purchase one full kit to participate. Our Adidas gameday kits and training gear are the only items to be worn at training and games.
Additional items for comfort and convenience are available for purchase in the SoccerZoneUSA.com team store.
TRAVEL uniform guidelines | FALL 2025
- Our home kit is RED. Our away kit is BLACK. (Always bring both).
- Uniforms are ordered online at the SoccerZoneUSA.com club page.
- Players who already have SoccerZone profiles will need to use their existing accounts to place new orders.
- Goalkeeper kits are required for all full-time keepers.
- BSC logo training shirts are included, one red and one black.
- Coaches will communicate in advance what colors to wear at each session, game or location.
- Returning players will keep their existing numbers. New players will be assigned an available number by the club.
- All players must wear the appropriate style and color items for training and gameday.
While we understand that players may have favorite numbers or requests, our primary goal in assigning numbers is to foster a team environment that rewards commitment, development, and positive contributions to the club.
Here’s why we don’t simply assign numbers based on requests:
- Focus on Merit and Dedication: We believe that opportunities, including jersey numbers, should reflect a player’s dedication to the team, their consistent effort in practices, their positive attitude, and their overall development as a player. This encourages everyone to strive for improvement and be an integral part of our success.
- Reinforcing Team Values: Assigning numbers based solely on preference can inadvertently create a sense of entitlement. We want to cultivate a culture where players understand that their role and recognition within the team are earned through their actions and commitment.
- Maintaining Fairness and Objectivity: Relying on requests can become subjective and difficult to manage fairly across the entire team. Our approach aims for a more objective way of acknowledging a player’s growth and contribution.
- Long-Term Player Development: By linking certain opportunities (like potentially more desirable numbers in the future) to commitment and development, we aim to motivate players to continuously work hard and improve their skills.
This doesn’t mean that player preferences are entirely disregarded. Where possible and appropriate, we will certainly take them into consideration. However, the ultimate decision will be based on what we believe best supports the team’s goals and the individual development of each player.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in fostering a team environment that values hard work, dedication, and continuous improvement.
